1. ESTABLISHMENT

The company started operating from the 2nd of January 2001.

 

2. MISSION

The main mission of the company is to render a professional and efficient service to all stakeholders in the creditor driven insolvency process.

We are also extremely supportive of positive transformation and we are actively involved in providing assistance to previously disadvantaged individuals. We specifically focus on the transfer of skills.

In August 2013 we were joined by a further four estate administrators. We now have 22 permanent staff members enabling us to attend to matters of any size and degree of difficulty.

 

3. BRIEF HISTORY

Since the establishment of the company in 2001 we have been appointed in numerous matters that required a substantial infrastructure and a high level of skill to successfully finalise.

These include but are not limited to:
- Various commercial airlines with up to 15 000 creditors each.
- Various medical schemes with up to 3 000 members each.
- Various property developments which were successfully completed and thereby adding substantial value.
- Various farming enterprises.
- Various companies in the manufacturing, transport and service industries including listed entities.

 

4. ON BEE

Over and above the two directors Mrs Sibiya and Mr Ndyamara, who are both shareholders and actively involved in the administration of estates as well as the day to day running of the company, we are also privileged to be assisted by Mr Y Ebrahim appointed as a permanent consultant.

We are also implementing workshops on various topics of insolvency for the above individuals on a quarterly basis. This will enable any individual wishing to become actively involved in the industry to do so.

 

5. VISION OF THE COMPANY

The vision of the company is to be a sustainable entity that is representative of the demographics of the South African population and maintain the ability of operating independently.

Mr Aviwe Ndyamara

Aviwe has extensive banking and insolvency experience, he has independently managed an outsourced insolvent book debt of a big five bank. He has a Diploma in Insolvency Law & Practice (Cum Laude) and Advanced certificates in Banking, Tax Administration and Business Rescue Practice. He takes appointments as a Liquidator and Trustee from the Master of the High Courts countrywide, serves on the panel of independent trustees at the Financial Services Board and enjoys support from both private and state owned financial institutions. He has been appointed in numerous high value cross border insolvent estates, high profile Curatorship’s and Johannesburg Stock Exchange Listed Company Liquidations.

Mr J Z H Müller (Hannes Müller)

Hannes has been taking sole appointments since 1985 and handled various liquidations and sequestrations ranging from minimum fee estates to estates running into millions of rands. He has also handled estates where various banks' exposure ran into millions of rands. Hannes also successfully completed a Advanced Certificate in Cross Border Insolvency at the University of Pretoria. He has handled just about any type of business, farming and other estates. Hannes also obtained the Advanced Certificate in Insolvency Law in 2003. He has vast experience in the administration of various types of assets, and have been appointed in numerous high profile matters.

Mrs Louisa Sibiya

Louisa joined Cape Trustees in 1990. She has been involved in the practical and day to day administration of insolvent estate more specifically matters attaining to the Masters Office and DTI. She joined Tshwane Trust in September 2002 and attained directorship in January 2012 and she is on the Master's Panel in Pretoria.

Mrs Alta van Wyk

Alta worked for attorneys as a personal assistant for 14 years and joined Cape Trustees in 1992 assisting Hannes Müller. She successfully completed the Diploma in Insolvency Law & Practice in 1995, the Cross Border Insolvency Diploma in 2000 as well as the Advanced Certificate in Insolvency Law in 2004. She serves on the Master's panel of liquidators and takes sole appointments.

Mrs Deidre Basson

Deidre joined Cape Trustees in 1991 assisting Mr J S Venter. She successfully completed the Diploma in Insolvency Law and Practice in 1995 as well as the Advanced Certificate in Insolvency Law in 2004. She is on the Master's panel of liquidators. She joined our firm on the 1st of September 2001.

Mr Izak Boshoff

Izak completed his B Iuris Degree (Cum Laude) in 1997. He joined the Master's Office, Pretoria in 1993. He joined Cooper Trustees in 1999 as an administrator of insolvent estates. He started with our company in 2003. He successfully completed the Diploma in Insolvency Law and Practice in 1999, Advanced Certificate in Insolvency law in 2004 and Advanced certificate in Business Rescue Practice in 2012. He has taken sole appointments as trustee and liquidator since 2003. He has gained vast experience in the administration of various types of estates and has been appointed in numerous high profile matters.

Mr J J Beetge (Hannes Beetge)

Mrs Michelle Schutte

Michelle obtained her Diploma in Insolvency Law and Practice in 2002. She has over 12 years experience in the administration of insolvent estates.

Mrs Lizette Opperman

Lizette obtained her Diploma in Insolvency Law & Practice (Cum Laude). She has over 9 years experience in the administration of insolvent estates. She serves on the panel of the Master of the High Court and takes sole appointment as Liquidator and Trustee. She also has extensive experience in the administration of deceased estates.

Mrs Gerda van den Berg

Gerda obtained her Diploma in Insolvency Law & Practice in 2010. She has over 16 years experience in the administration of insolvent estates. She also has extensive experience in the administration of deceased estates.

Mrs Venessa Bekker

Venessa obtained her Diploma in Insolvency Law & Practice (Cum Laude). In 1997 she joined Cape Trustees as an assistant to Mr JJ Beetge. She serves on the panel of the Master of the High Court as Liquidator and Trustee.

Mrs Marina Spies

Marina joined Santam Trust as an administer of deceased estates in 1979. She completed her Diploma in Insolvency Law & Practice in 2000 and the National Credit Act Diploma in 2009. She joined Tshwane Trust in 2010 and has more than 15 years experience in the administration of insolvent and deceased estates.
